GOWANDA – Gowanda Electronics, a designer and manufacturer of precision electronic components for radio frequency and power applications, announced that the company recently achieved military approval for four thru-hole RF inductor series: MLRF10M, MLRF15M, MLRF18M and MLRF17S.

These Gowanda series meet the military’s Qualif-ied Product List requirement for military spec MIL-PRF-15305. They also ex-pand the company’s QPL-approved product line and demonstrate Gowanda’s ongoing commitment to the development and introduction of QPL products that address the needs of the military and aerospace markets.

These new wirewound, molded, thru-hole, RF inductors are designed for radio frequency applications in military, aerospace and defense communities. This includes use in communication, guidance and security applications, as well as in radar, test and evaluation and special mission applications.

The shielded MLRF17S series is used specifically in applications where the close proximity of circuit board components requires the inductor to be shielded to minimize interactions and ensure performance of the overall system.
