Fredonia brush pickup Monday

The village of Fredonia will be picking up limbs and yard waste beginning Monday, Aug. 26. Collection will begin at 7 a.m. and continue until every village street has been collected once. Bags and brush are collected separately by different crews. All items for collection must be at the curb no later than 7 a.m. Monday. In no case will there be repeat collection of areas completed.

All yard waste must be bagged and all limbs and brush must be tied with twine. Limbs and brush must be cut no longer than four feet in length with bundles being no larger than 18 inches in diameter. Bundles and bags are limited to 65 pounds in weight. There is no collection of loose material.

Village residents may bring bagged yard waste and bundled brush to the designated area at the DPW yard, 176 Eagle St. at any time. The drop off area will be available until further notice.

The cooperation of residents is greatly appreciated. The next scheduled pick-up will start on Monday, Sept. 23.
