CIAO news

The CIAO Board of Directors met to discuss the upcoming events for the months of September, October and December. Due to a conflict, the pizza and game night that was to be held on Sept. 8, has been cancelled, but will combine game night with the Columbus/Harvest Dinner. The Board members are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The Columbus Day/Harvest Dinner will be held on Oct. 8, at 6 p.m., at St Joseph Church, Fredonia. Members and their guests are asked to bring their own table setting, dish to pass, and game night skills! Coffee will be provided and for those who would like to bring a beverage to share, there will undoubtedly be some takers! This is a family-friendly night and families are welcome to attend. There is no fee, just a lot of fun. Maybe, just maybe Columbus himself will be there! Call or email, Sam Crisanti, 934-2592, Rosemary Piede, 366-4236 or email, ciaosecretary@yahoo.com. It’s a great night out and the food is pretty good, too!

The Christmas luncheon is being held at the Fredonia Beaver Club on Dec. 2. Members are asked to bring large “family size” bags of candy to fill Christmas stockings for Willow Mission. This luncheon is self-pay and everyone knows how good the food at the Beaver Club is! Mark this date on the calendar and invite friends and family to join in. People do not need to be members to attend, but should just bring their appetites!
