Poinsettia sale benefits area club

A poinsettia sale is taking place to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua County. The six-inch flowers are available in white, red, pink or marble for $10. To place your order, call the club at 366-1061.

The club, located at the Salvation Army building at 704 Central Ave., serves more than 600 youth in our region.

Cassadaga Village Board meeting canceled

The Cassadaga Village Board has canceled Wednesday’s meeting. The next meeting will take place Dec. 5.

NY Telephone Retirees, meeting set for Nov. 26

The NY Telephone Retirees and former co-workers and friends will meet at the East Main Cafe, 183 E. Main St., Fredonia (former Seed Company building) on Monday, Nov. 26 at 11:30 a.m. for the monthly get-together.

CCIDA Board to meet Nov. 27 in Celoron

The County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA) Board of Directors will meet at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, in the Columbia Banquet Room, 10 Dunham Ave., Celoron, on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 10 a.m.

Dunkirk Planning Board meeting Nov. 29

A Dunkirk Planning Board meeting has been added to the calendar for Nov. 28 in the Mayor’s Conference Room at 5 p.m.

Lily Dale Holiday Bazaar planned for Nov. 29 through Dec. 2

The Lily Dale Holiday Bazaar is scheduled from Nov. 29 through Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lily Dale Lyceum, 457 E. St. The event features handmade crafts, Christmas decorations, bags, caftans, aprons, gifts, knitted scarves, shawls, indoor plants as well as new and gently-used household items.

All proceeds from the Bazaar support the Lily Dale Assembly, a non profit organization.

Danza! Performing Arts Academy presents annual holiday show Nov. 29 and 30

Danza! Performing Arts Academy will present its annual holiday show Thursday, Nov. 29 and Friday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House. This year’s theme is “Deck the Halls.” Tickets are $15 each and are available through the Opera House. Call 679-1891.
