Lakeshore Humane Society weekly open hours start Wednesday

The Lakeshore Humane Society will begin holding weekly open hours at its adoption center, each Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. This will give the public a consistent mid-week opportunity to meet the cats and dogs in need of caring homes, as well as ask questions and see the facility. The first weekly Open Hours will be Wednesday, Jan. 2. The center is located at 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk.

If unable to come on Wednesday, please call 672-1991 to arrange an appointment to see the dogs and cats awaiting adoption, or come to the LHS Adoption Day on Jan. 5. (You must be 21 years of age or older to adopt a pet.)

While at the LHS Adoption Center, check out the “Cat’s Meow” Boutique, where you can find pet-related gift items, while supporting the Lakeshore Humane Society.
