Forestville Eastern Star cancels lasagna dinner

The Forestville Eastern Star lasagna dinner scheduled for Saturday, March 9 has been cancelled.

Chautauqua Lake Secondary School Musical ‘Once Upon a Mattress’

Chautauqua Lake Secondary School will present the musical “Once Upon a Mattress,” tonight, March 9 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium, 100 N. Erie St., Mayville. Tickets for adults are $7, or for students and senior citizens, $5. Children 4 and under are admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling 753-5881.

Prendergast Library presents: Mike Morton and his hedgehogs today

Prendergast Library, located at 509 Cherry St., Jamestown, will presents Mike Morton and his hedgehogs on Saturday, March 9 at 2 p.m., at an animal-themed storytime. Makerspace will be open following free, fun event. All ages are welcome, and no registration is required.

Chapter No. 459 Vietnam Veterans of America to host monthly meeting

N. Chautauqua Pickleball to host introductory class

Northern Chautauqua Pickleball announces an introductory class on how to play pickleball. It will take place Tuesday, March 12 at 6 p.m. at St. Anthony’s gym, 32 Moore Ave., Fredonia. There is no charge to participate in this class. Equipment is provided. With questions, call Ed Kirchmeyer at 432-6114.

WMH Auxiliary to host chicken, biscuit dinner

If “Cabin Fever” is getting to you, mark your calendar for Monday. The Westfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will be hosting a Chicken and Biscuit Dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Westfield.

The menu includes chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, cranberry salad, a dessert bar and assorted beverages. All items are homemade and sure to please.

The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10. Take-outs are available and the church is handicapped accessible. All proceeds benefit the Auxiliary’s ongoing projects at WMH. For further information, contact Jean McCausland at 326-3527 or 581-1639.
