Silver Creek Village Board to meet Thursday

The Silver Creek Village Board will conduct a workshop this Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Village Hall. The New York State Tap grant will be the topic of discussion.

Chautauqua Lake Central School Elementary Science Fair set for today

The Chautauqua Lake Elementary Science Fair will take place today from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at 100 N. Erie St., Mayville. There will be displays in corridors at every grade level and fifth grade projects exhibited in the elementary gym. Admission is free, and the public is welcome.

Forestville Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners to meet Thursday

The Forestville Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners will conduct its regular monthly meeting Thursday, March 21, at 7 p.m. at the Forestville Fire Station, located at 18 Chestnut Street, Forestville.

Chicken ‘n biscuit dinner

set for Wednesday

A chicken ‘n biscuit dinner to benefit the Gowanda Ambulance Service Corporation will take place on Wednesday, March 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Gowanda American Legion Post #409, 100 Legion Drive in Gowanda. Take-outs are available. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children ages 5 and younger.
