Josie Christopher announces changes to services

Josie Christopher of the Circle of Love ministry announces that she is no longer offering post-mastectomy services. Christopher, who began offering these services since 1990, is grateful to all who have entrusted her with their care. She is continuing the prayer shawl, comfort pillow and turban ministry, and shares a grateful “thank you” for the years of participation and support for the Circle of Love.

in the Library Concert Series welcomes Creek Bend

The Collins Public Library, located at 2341 Main St., Collins, will present this year’s first performance in the Music in the Library Concert Series on Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. This free concert will be presented by classic bluegrass band Creek Bend. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will meet on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Cassadaga Library, 18 Maple Ave., Cassadaga. The community calendar and upcoming events will be discussed. All area residents are encouraged to attend.

First Ward Falcon Club spring meat raffle planned for April 13

First Ward Falcon Club will hold a spring meat raffle on Saturday, April 13 at 7 p.m. at 341-343 Lake Shore Drive East, Dunkirk. Steaks, sausage and ham will be raffled. Free draft beer will be provided. All are welcome. Proceeds benefit college scholarships.

Breakfast to benefit Owen Miller scholarship fund

The Ripley United Methodist Church, 84 W. Main St. in Ripley, is hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday, April 13 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. to benefit the Owen Miller Scholarship Fund. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs, omelets, home fries, biscuits, sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee. Tickets are $7. presents: Kids’ Easter Celebration on April 13

Dunkirk Public Library will hold a Kids’ Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to noon at the library, located at 536 Central Ave. Kids 2 to 10 will enjoy stories, treats and more. Due to limited space, registration is required. Call 366-2511 or sign up in Children’s Room.
