East Dunkirk Fire Department meat raffle set for Saturday

The East Dunkirk Fire Department will hold a meat raffle on Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Firehall, 10949 S. Roberts Road, Dunkirk. The volunteers will be raffling off beef, chicken and pork. There will also be special raffles and gifts donated by local businesses. Tickets are available from members or call the Firehall at 366-2211.

Spring Rummage Sale by the Trinity Episcopal Church Women planned today

A spring rummage sale by the Trinity Episcopal Church Women in Garland Hall ( back of the Church) 11 Day St. Fredonia, is set for today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to noon. This is a clean sale of a variety of usable items, and always a surprise of what is there. The last hour of the event is a bag sale which means, all you can fit in the bag for a nominal price. Come and explore the treasures.

Circle of Love needs local sewers

The Circle of Love is making telemetry pouches for cardiac rehab unit patients, and the all local sewers are invited to contribute their time and talents. Patterns and fabric are available from Josie Christopher, who may be reached at 366-0698 or 969-3250.
