Squadron 1280 Son’s of the American Legion presents: Cruise Night July 17

Squadron 1280 Son’s of the American Legion presents: Cruise Night on Wednesday, July 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cassadaga Legion Post 1280, 228 Maple Ave., Cassadaga. The event features food, music, cool cars and fun. Everyone is welcome to attend at no charge. For details, call 595-3145. There will also be an Auxiliary bake sale.

Fredonia Presbyterian Church presents summer band concert and dessert fest July 16

A summer band concert and dessert fest will be held Tuesday, July 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 219 Central Ave., Fredonia. Guests may try three homemade desserts for $3. The Cassadaga Band begins its free concert at 6 p.m. Audience members should bring lawn chairs to sit outside for concert. There is no rain date for the event.

Revitalize Dunkirk general meeting set for July 18

The July meeting of Revitalize Dunkirk will be held on Thursday, July 18, 6:30 p.m., at the Fredonia State University Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave. in Dunkirk.

Revitalize Dunkirk, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose members advocate ideas and engage in projects for improved urban living to residents and elected Dunkirk city officials. All members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Westfield Quilters’ Guild

July begins a new quilting year, a time for sharing ideas, patterns and all things pertaining to the love of quilting. Join The Westfield Quilters’ Guild at the Westfield YWCA on July 18 at 6 p.m. for social time and a monthly meeting following at 6:30 p.m.

Cheryl Burgess will discuss her recent retreat in Kansas, sharing new techniques and quilts.
