Vendors sought for Forestville Fall Festival

The Forestville Fall Festival will be held on Oct. 5 and 6 at the Forestville High School. Vendors who are interested in taking part may contact Carol McEntarfer at 965-4262 or Carol Woodward at 965-2675. Spots are still available.

“What’s Your Favorite Universe? date changed to Aug. 8

There has been a date change in the program “What’s Your Favorite Universe” which is presented by the Barker Library, 7 Day St., Fredonia. The new date is Thursday, Aug. 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. All kids and teens in fifth grade and up are welcome. No registration is necessary.

Dress in your favorite cosplay, play your favorite Xbox games, and watch your favorite movies! We’ll do crafts, eat snacks and celebrate YOUR favorite universes.

Fredonia High Class of 1954 plans reunion

The Fredonia High School Class of 1954 will be celebrating their 65th reunion in August. Plans are being made for an informal get-together on Friday evening, Aug. 30 and a sit-down dinner on Aug. 31. Both events will be held at Manning’s Fireside Manor, located on Route 5.

Sheridan concert set for Wednesday

An evening to celebrate Sheridan will include a free outdoor concert on Wednesday, July 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the lawn of the town office buildings, 2773 Route 20 in Sheridan. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place inside the town auditorium. Music will be provided by the Cassadaga Area Concert Band and concessions provided by and to benefit the Sheridan Historical Society and Sheridan Memorial VFW Auxiliary.

Managing Caregiver Stress class planned Wednesday

What should the caregiver get out of the class? The demands of taking care of an elderly loved one can result in a great deal of stress. Discover ways to take care of yourself and learn how to avoid caregiver burnout by attending Chautauqua Opportunity’s Managing Caregiver Stress class on July 24 at the Cassadaga Library, 18 Maple St., Cassadaga. Mindszenty Class of ’79 reunion is Aug. 2-3

Cardinal Mindszenty Class of 1979 will hold its 40th reunion on Aug. 2 and 3. Friday will be a gathering at the home of Classmate Henry Pucciarelli beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday’s events include a building tour at 3 p.m., 4 p.m. mass at Holy Trinity Church, and dinner at 5:30 at the home of classmates Kevin and Mary Carlson.
