Forestville School Board meets today

Today the Forestville Central School Board of Education will hold their regular monthly meeting in the high school library at 5:30 p.m.

Chapter #459 Vietnam Veterans of America to host monthly meeting

On Sunday, Sept. 8 at 11 a.m., Chapter #459 of the Vietnam Veterans of America will meet at John T. Murray VFW Post #1017, 113 Deer St., Dunkirk. All members are encouraged to attend. Contact Danny S. McGill, chapter secretary, with questions at 366-2287.

I Am Loved event Sunday in Brocton

A special event called “I Am Loved,” will take place Sunday, Sept. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the St. Stephen’s Cafe parking lot, Highland Avenue, Brocton. The afternoon will feature free food, clothing, school supplies and book bags. The organizers are also giving away two new bikes. Other attractions are live music and a bounce house. Six social service agencies will be present.
