Corn hole tournament at Forestville Fall Festival

The Fall Festival will hold a corn hole tournament today, Oct. 5 at the Forestville High School. Find a partner and arrive by noon to sign up. Cost is $5 per team.

Villenova Grange pancake breakfast

The Villenova Grange will host an all-you-can-eat pancake brunch on Sunday, Oct. 6 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Villenova Grange Hall Balcom Corners,South Dayton. The cost is $8 for an adult or $7 for a small brunch.

Versailles Community Association news

The Versailles Community Association, 11703 Main St., Versailles, is gearing up for its fall schedule.

The costs for musical events are $8 single, $15 couple or $25 family. Events include:

Zittel Band on Oct. 6 from 7 to 10 p.m.; Uncle Ben’s Remedy on Oct. 19 from 8 p.m. to midnight; Firemen’s Dance on Oct. 26 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. and the fall bazaar Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Perrysburg Town Board to hold special meeting

The Perrysburg Town Board will hold a special meeting on Monday, October 7, at 7 p.m. at the Perrysburg Town Hall, 10460 Peck Hill Road. The purpose of the meeting is to review the Request For Quotation for geotechnical service and Request For Proposal for the creation of a project survey for a section of road on Prospect Street and the presentation of the 2020 tentative budget.

Villenova Burial Association

The Villenova Burial Association will hold their Annual Fall meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Villenova Town Hall, 1094 Butcher Road, South Dayton. The Association Trustees would like to encourage all members of the Association (anyone who owns a lot or has family members buried in Villenova Cemetery) to attend this meeting. Election of Trustees and Officers will be part of the meeting agenda.
