Second Saturday Uke Jam planned

A Second Saturday Uke Jam will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Domus Fare, 43 W. Main St., Fredonia. This is an all-ability-level jam. Strum and sing. There will be an OPEN MIC opportunity for individuals /groups involving uke.

Chapter #459 Vietnam Veterans of America to host monthly meeting

WW II Veterans’ Club chicken barbecue Sunday

There will be a Weidner’s chicken barbecue on Sunday, Oct. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. at the World War II Veterans’ Club, 216 Lake Shore Drive E., Dunkirk. Tickets are $10 pre-sale.
