Revitalize Dunkirk meets tonight
Revitalize Dunkirk’s monthly meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. today in the Large Conference Room, Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave, Dunkirk. The guest speaker will be Dave Briska from the Dunkirk Lighthouse. Following his presentation will be reports from the board of directors and standing committees, updates on projects/events, and time for public comments.
Revitalize Dunkirk, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with a mission of advocating for improved urban living by enhancing the city’s physical infrastructure, reinvigorating commerce, and boosting community pride and vision. The organization promotes projects to beautify the community through public landscaping and art, enhanced streetscapes, and community involvement, with a goal of increasing business, tourism and residential opportunities.
Revitalize Dunkirk meets at 6:30 on the third Thursday of each month at the Fredonia Technology Incubator. All members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend.

informal town hall meeting set for tonight
Democratic candidates running for office in the Village of Fredonia and the Town of Pomfret will hold an informal town hall meeting for residents who would like to ask questions or discuss issues. The town hall meeting will be held in the Trustee Room of Fredonia Village Hall at 6:30 p.m.tonight, Oct. 17.

The next Brooks Memorial Hospital Retirees’ luncheon will take place Thursday, Oct. 17 at 11:30 a.m. at Manning’s East Main Cafe, 183 E. Main St., Fredonia.
