Dunkirk High School band concert Tuesday

Dunkirk High School Fall District Band Concert will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m., in the Dunkirk High School auditorium, 75 W. Sixth St., Dunkirk.

Fredonia High School Pops Concert Tuesday

The Fredonia High School Pops Concert will be presented on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. in the District auditorium at 425 E. Main St., Fredonia. The concert features the Jazz Ensemble, String Orchestra, Chamber Choir, Madrigals Singers and the Symphonic Band.

Sewer district board of directors to meet

There will be a regular Portland Pomfret Dunkirk Sewer District meeting of the Board of Directors. The meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Town of Dunkirk meeting room on Willow Road. The meeting is open to the public.

North County districts’ meeting Tuesday

There will be a meeting of the Board of Directors of the North County Industrial Water and Sewer Districts. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 4 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Town of Dunkirk meeting room on Willow Road. The meeting is open to the public.

Scandinavian folk dancing classes set

Traditional Scandinavian folk dancing will be taught on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 904 W. Third St., Jamestown from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome. There is no charge for the class. Come and have fun!

County Board of Health special meeting today

A special meeting of the Chautauqua County Board of Health will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in the HRC Building, 4th Floor Conference Room, 7 N. Erie St. in Mayville, to address a nuisance complaint in the village of Sherman.
