Dunkirk Local Development Corp. to meet today

The Dunkirk Local Development Corporation will meet today at 5 p.m. in the City Hall second floor conference room.

Dunkirk Memorial Auxiliary Unit 62 meeting tonight

Tonight at 7 p.m., Dunkirk Memorial Auxiliary Unit 62 will hold their monthly meeting at Post 62, 211 Central Avenue in Dunkirk. All members are encouraged to attend.

Son’s of American Legion Squad 59 to meet tonight

The Son’s of American Legion Squad 59 will be holding their monthly meeting today at 7 p.m. at Post 59, 156 E. Main St., Fredonia. All SAL are encouraged to attend the meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of every month.

Hanover zoning and planning boards to meet Wednesday

The town Planning and Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a joint meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at 21 Pearl St., Forestville. Discussion will center on review of draft zoning Laws. All are welcome. Handicapped accessible entrance.

Dunkirk Citizens Advisory Board monthly meeting set

The Dunkirk Citizens Advisory Board monthly meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mayor’s Conference Room of City Hall on the second floor.

Lily Dale Lyceum plans holiday bazaar

The Lily Dale Lyceum will hold a holiday bazaar Thursday, Dec. 12 through Sunday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will feature handmade crafts, Christmas decorations, bags, caftans, aprons, gifts, knitted scarves and shawls. Fabric and craft supplies, indoor plants, fairy houses, new and gently used household, decor and gift items as well as a Noritake Bessie china service for 8 will be available for sale. There will be free parking and free entry. Children can enjoy a playground. All proceeds from the Bazaar support the Lily Dale Assembly, a non-profit organization. Sunday only at the fire hall, there will be vendor tables from 1 to 3 p.m. and a $5 luncheon at noon. Proceeds benefit the Lily Dale Fire Company.

Silver Creek Central School District announces events

The Silver Creek Central School District has announced events open to the public for November.

On Friday, Nov. 14 and Saturday, Nov. 15, the Silver Creek Middle School will present its second annual musical – “Seussical Jr.” in the high school auditorium, 1 Dickinson St., at 7 p.m. Visit www.silvercreekschools.org for more information.

On Monday, Nov. 25, the annual Turkey Trot will take place at the Silver Creek High School track, 1 Dickinson St., from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Admission is one canned good.

Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation Open House Friday

As the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation celebrates National Community Foundation Week, it thanks the thousands of individuals, couples, families, businesses, and organizations for helping the NCCF to do good work in this community. To show gratitude, NCCF invite the community to its annual Community Foundation Week Open House on Friday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the SUNY Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk.
