Jamestown Community Third Friday Christmas Dance

On Friday, Dec. 20 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Tree of Life Church, 825 Forest Ave., Jamestown there will be a Christmas Dance. Joe Kwiatkowski is the caller. Admission is only $5. Snacks are provided. Come and have a fun time! No experience/partner necessary.

Lakeshore Humane Society to hold Holiday Pet Adoption Event

The Lakeshore Humane Society will hold a special Holiday Pet Adoption Day/Open House at its Adoption Center on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 12 to 3 p.m. The center is located at 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk. There will be Christmas caroling, hot cocoa, cookies, and a visit from Santa Claus from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Come and meet the animals in need of caring homes at a very merry Adoption Day!

While at the Adoption Center, visitors can find a selection of pet-themed gifts at the “Cat’s Meow Boutique.”

If unable to come to an Adoption Day, call 672-1991 to arrange an appointment to see the dogs and cats awaiting adoption. (One must be 21 years of age or older to adopt a pet).

First Ward Falcon Club Football Saturday

The First Ward Falcon Club will host Football Saturday on the big screen on Saturday, Dec. 21 beginning at 1 p.m. at the clubhouse, 341 Lake Shore Drive East, Dunkirk. The day will include food and beverage specials. Come for all three games. The Bills and Patriots kick off at 4:30. All are invited. Go Bills!
