Town of Pomfret seeks Planning Board candidate

The Town of Pomfret is seeking a community member to serve on the Pomfret Planning Board. Candidates must be a member of the Town of Pomfret (which includes the Village of Fredonia), be 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma. Sheridan Post 6390 VFW Auxiliary to meet

The Auxiliary for the Sheridan Memorial Post 6390 VFW will hold its regular monthly meeting this coming Monday, Jan. 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the post, located at 2556 Route 20 in Sheridan. Annual members must now have their dues paid for 2020 in order to remain in good standing. All members are encouraged to attend the meeting and social time following.

Silver Creek board workshop today; meeting off

The Silver Creek Village Board will be holding a workshop today at 4 p.m. in the board room. The board meeting scheduled for Jan. 20 is cancelled due to scheduling conflicts.
