Evening walk at WACS begins Monday

Since the cold weather has set in, it is time to think about moving your walking activities indoors.

With over a mile in hallways throughout Westfield Academy and Central School, there is sure to be a walking path for every ability and desire. Also, you can walk the Heart Healthy Trail by following the heart symbols along the walls.

Walkers may walk at their own leisure or be a part of a guided walk. This program begins Jan. 13 and will run weekly on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7 p.m. You can still register for this activity. The guided evening walks are led, once again, by Middle School/High School Teacher, Robert Dyment. There is no fee for this class. Just enjoy the walk and take the steps to a healthier you.
