DMVs open, but lobbies are closed
Changes are slated to continue for the local Department of Motor Vehicles.
Chautauqua County Clerk Larry Barmore sent this statement to the OBSERVER on Monday regarding the offices.
“Starting Tuesday morning, the DMVs will reopen with a drop box out front to place materials,” Barmore said. “The lobbies will be closed. Customers must leave their phone number and address as we will call them when we get to their paperwork for questions and payment. Basically we are going back to the policy in effect before the closing announcement two hours ago.”
