OBSERVER accepting photos of moms

We know moms are working hard. Would you like to honor her this weekend in the newspaper? The OBSERVER is accepting photos of moms and her children for our weekend print edition. Just email a picture to photos@observertoday.com by 5 p.m. WEDNESDAY (no late photos accepted). Please include names of the people in the photo and what community they live in. You can briefly say why she’s special as well. There is no charge for this; we only ask that mom be from our local area and only one photo per family.

reschedules board meeting

The Pine Valley Central School Board of Education meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 7 has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 14, beginning at 7 p.m. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with Executive Order 202.1, please be advised that members of the public will not be permitted to attend the board meeting in person. The meeting will be recorded and placed on our website. It will also be transcribed at a later date and put on our website, per Executive Order 202.1.
