Access Chautauqua lists programming

Access Chautauqua has listed its programming for May 9-15.

“Let’s Heal Together,” with Ian Eastman, Misty Pennington and Prevention Works, will air at 12:25 p.m. and 6:25 p.m.

“Rolling Hills Radio” features Mary Ramsey, John Lombardo and Garnet Rogers. The program is at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

“Chautauqua Sunrise,” hosted by Doc Hamels, will have guest William Caldwell, superintendent of Ripley Central School. The program is aired and streamed on Facebook live at 9 a.m. Saturday, then repeats at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

“Fresh Perspectives,” with host Gail Erb, will have guests Diane Clark and Bill Moran from Greystone Nature Preserve, Bird, Bat and Butterfly Sanctuary. The show is at 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.

“Let’s Heal Together,” with Police Chief Harry Snellings and the Mental Health Association in Chautauqua, will air at 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday, May 9 with the final airing on Friday, May 15.

Access Chautauqua, formerly Access Channel 5, is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on cable channel 1301.

The programs may also be viewed after the initial airing at the station’s web site https://accesschautauquacountytv.org.

Fredonia Farmers’ Market open Saturday

The Fredonia Farmers’ Market will be open this Saturday, May 9, during regular hours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Masonic Forest Lodge, 321 E. Main St., Fredonia. Vendors are spaced far apart and using precautions following NYS safety guidelines. Vendors will continue to hold market as they have been for as long as needed. The Market plans to move outdoors May 16.

Annual ox roast canceled

Westfield Exempt Volunteer Fireman’s Association President George Kurtz announced on Facebook that the 2020 Volunteer Fireman’s Annual Ox Roast has been canceled.

“We feel that the safety of our community and the safety of our members are paramount during these latest health concerns. We appreciate everyone’s support over the previous years, and want to let you know that we still intend on having one in July of 2021,” he stated.
