Pomfret announces Thursday paving

The town of Pomfret Highway Department will be closing Concord Drive from the Fredonia-Stockton Road to Chautauqua Road for paving from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to Jude Gardner, Pomfret highway superintendent.

Forest Lodge No. 166 Sunday Family Breakfast cancelled for May

The monthly Sunday Breakfast held at Forest Lodge No. 166 F&AM, and scheduled for May 17, has been cancelled due to restrictions imposed by the state. The public will be notified as to the status of the June breakfast, traditionally held on Father’s Day, as time gets closer. The officers and members of Forest Lodge No. 166 wish that everyone stays safe and healthy during these trying times.
