County IDA Board Set To Meet Tuesday

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday via livestream on YouTube. To view the meeting, visit YouTube and search for County of Chautauqua IDA. Once on the webpage, viewers can click on “videos” to watch the live stream. Minutes of the Board Meeting will transcribed and posted on the agency’s website once approved by the board. The agenda will be posted to ccida.com under News and Agenda prior to the start of the meeting.

Grape Belt Open golf tournament postponed

The Concord Grape Belt Heritage Association board of directors has postponed the annual Grape Belt Open golf tournament until 2021. “The board thanks its members, corporate sponsors, tee sponsors, golfers and the folks at Pinehurst Golf Course in Westfield for their past support, making this event one of the major fundraisers for the Grape Discovery Center in Westfield,” the board said. “Given the current economic climate affecting many of our supporters, the decision was made to postpone the tournament. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, for a fun day of golf.” As a nonprofit organization, donations are always welcome, payable to the CGBHA and mailed to the Grape Discovery Center at 8305 West Main Street, Westfield, NY 14787.

Dunkirk Zoning Board Meeting Set

A Dunkirk Zoning Board meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the mayor’s conference room.

Courts closed for Juneteenth today

Pursuant to the governor’s executive order 204, New York State is recognizing Juneteenth today. This shall be a holiday observed by the Court System. Therefore, consistent with other observed New York State holidays, the Courts of the Eighth Judicial District will be closed.

Riverfest canceled for this September

The Allegheny Center for the Arts Board of Directors decided this week to not hold the annual September Riverfest at Crescent Park this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
