Hanover to flush hydrants starting Monday

The Hanover Water and Wastewater Department will begin flushing fire hydrants in the town of Hanover water districts, including the hamlet of Forestville.

The work will start the week of Oct. 26. Employees will be conducting this flushing during the hours of 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. in order to limit the inconvenience to our customers. It is expected to take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to complete the work.

During this time, customers may experience a slight drop in water pressure along with some discoloration.

Those with questions are asked to contact the department directly at 934-2231.
