County Ethics Board to meet

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Ethics Board will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, in Room 149 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville.

Current members of the board are John Hamels, Diane Hannum, John Marengo, David Rowe and Mary Kay Szwejbka.

Individuals attending the meeting will be required to wear a face mask within the security screening area of the building and if they are not vaccinated for COVID-19.

DSS retiree picnic

The Chautauqua County Department of Social Services retirees will hold their annual picnic on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at the Carlson Community Building, Lakeside Park, 50 W. Lake Road, Mayville, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bring a dish to share, beverages and a lawn chair. Tableware will be provided. Picnic will be held rain or shine. Call Linda at 499-7421 for more information.
