Quilt show planned

for Aug. 6 and 7

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Valley Historical Society will host a quilt show at the museum in Sinclairville on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free. There will be new and old quilts on display. Anyone wishing to have their quilts displayed can phone Betty Jean Ridout at 716-962-2309.

CASSADAGA — Rev. Normandi Ellis, an award winning author from Chesterfield, Ind., is the guest speaker for the 1 p.m. service Sunday at Universal Unity of Spirit. Her topic is “You Are the Manifested Light of the World.” Ellis has led sacred trips to Egypt since 1992 and her original translations in the Egyptian book Awakening Osiris is considered a spiritual classic.

She will also be available for private consultations preceding and following the service. Everyone is welcome to attend the service which includes meditation, healing and fellowship/refreshments at 89 N. Main St.
