HANOVER — The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the larceny of a John Deere 2305 tractor from Versailles Road that occurred between the dates of Feb. 1 and 4. The photograph of the tractor was provided to the department as a comparison but is not the actual stolen tractor. The tractor in question was not equipped with a bucket at the time of the theft and has a fixed roll bar, not the folding roll bar seen in the photo. The department is asking for the public’s assistance with any information leading to the arrest of those involved and/or recovery of the tractor.
