CARROLL — A 22-year-old man was injured after losing control of his motorcycle upon striking an animal.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies said the incident occurred at 12:25 a.m. Sunday on Frew Run Road involving Robert A. Lingenfelter of Frewsburg. He was ejected from the cycle in the accident and suffered minor injuries.

He was tranported by Frewsburg Fire Department to UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown for treatment.
