OBSERVER Staff Report

Chautauqua Alcohol & Substance Abuse Council’s inaugural “Keep Kids Off Drugs” Chiavetta’s Chicken Barbecue was held recently at the Falcon Club in Dunkirk.

The event was a great success in the North County with more than 460 dinners being sold. Funds raised from the dinner will be used toward youth substance use prevention services throughout Chautauqua County.

CASAC would like to thank all of its 2017 sponsors: Alliance Advisory Group; CASAC board members; Chautauqua Patrons Insurance Company; The Chautauqua Center; DFT Communications; Eagle Systems of Jamestown; Falconer Printing & Design; Geer-Dunn Company; Jamestown Savings Bank; Lind Funeral Home; Rhoe B. Henderson Insurance Company; Ronco Communications; The Resource Center; and Shults Resale Center.

CASAC would also like to thank the Falcon Club for allowing it to hold this event at their facility and a huge thank you to the community for supporting this fundraiser.

The organization looks forward to planning next year’s barbecue and seeing everyone again.
