Frewsburg man charged in assault, trespass
JAMESTOWN — A Frewsburg man is facing third-degree and assault charges after an incident in South Valley on Thursday.
State Police in Jamestown announced Saturday the arrest of Robert Houghwot, 43. Houghwot was charged after troopers responded to UPMC WCA Hospital in Jamestown where a man was being treated for head and face injuries.
The investigation revealed that Houghwot went onto the victim’s property without invitation after which an argument ensued. During the argument, Houghwot allegedly attacked the victim, leading to his hospitalization.
Houghwot was processed at State Police in Jamestown and released with appearance tickets.
He is scheduled to appear in the town of South Valley Court next month to answer the charges.
