Man charged in death of two horses
VILLENOVA — A town resident is facing animal cruelty charges after two deceased horses were found in a barn on Smith Road.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to an address on Smith Road after receiving the report Tuesday. Deputies located the owner and through further investigation Jeffrey W. Wolfe, 48, was issued appearance tickets for overdriving, torturing and injuring animals and failing to provide sustenance.
Wolfe is to be in Villenova Town Court at a later date.
