Access Chautauqua programming set for Sept. 15-21

“Defenders of Freedom” will air at 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., featuring interviews of World War II veterans Robert L. Steere, Stanley Baron, Joe Caprino and Virginia Seehausen.

“Chautauqua People,” hosted by John Viehe, will be at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The guest is Tom Hagen, Erie businessman and philanthropist. Hagen is chairman of Erie-based Erie Insurance and is a retired Naval officer.

“Chautauqua Sunrise,” hosted by Doc Hamels, will have guests Annie Rosenthal and Cindy Reidy from the Dwyer Peer to Peer Program. The program airs live at 9 a.m. on Saturday only, then repeats at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

“Fresh Perspectives,” hosted by Gail Erb will have guest Valerie Wolowender discussing child abuse prevention. The show is at 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Repeat programming is typically re-aired throughout the week at other various time slots.

All programming starts on Saturday with the final airing on Sept. 21.

Access Chautauqua, formerly Access Channel 5, is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman and Westfield areas, and can be found on cable channel 1301.
