Work to bring luxury apartments to the city of Dunkirk, just down and across the way from Athenex’s biopharmaceutical facility, is underway with the recent demolition of structures on the Lake Shore Drive East site. Twelve eight-unit luxury apartments will be constructed. Four buildings will be erected during the first phase of work. Developers of the project are Bill Gugino and Mark Baerwaldt of Erie Land Development, LLC.
