ANGOLA — The Angola Public Library is sponsoring the annual Fall Harvest Dinner at 6:30 on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Evans Center Fire Hall, Route 5 in the Town of Evans. The menu features a traditional turkey dinner catered by Cala’s Kitchen, with desserts provided by members of Evans Book Club, the library Board of Directors and Evans Garden Club. There will be a cash bar from 6 p.m.

Dinner music will be again be provided by the Saxtette of the New Horizons Band of Western New York.

There will be a chance auction featuring the traditional baskets plus door prizes. A stunning afghan made by a local resident will be raffled as well.

The Angola Public Library serves a diverse population. It offers computer access to those without home computers and children’s programs including movie night complete with popcorn. It provides space for local organizations to meet after hours.

Money for this year’s dinner will be used to enhance the library’s children’s programs and provide for interior renovations.

Tickets can be purchased at the library. Pre-event price is $20. At-the-door price is $25.
