Westfield man charged with harassment, endangering
WESTFIELD — An 18-year-old village man is facing second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child charges after an incident that occurred in July.
Village police reported this morning they were contacted in September regarding Joseph B. Trippe of 90 Academy St. The complaint stated Trippe was involved in a harassment and endangering situation when he allegedly made a number of verbal sexual advances toward a 14-year-old girl.
He was arrested without incident and also allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arraigned and sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 cash and $2,000 property bail.
