During the recent 100th birthday celebration of the American Legion held at the Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280, awards were presented to many people. The final award of the evening’s program was the Legionnaire of the Year, presented to William Baker for Outstanding Leadership and Service to the Cassadaga Post 1280. Shown in the photograph is Post 1280 Commander Rusty Jones on the left presenting the award to Baker. It was announced that when something needs to be done at the Legion or community, Baker was there to help. Congratulations to William Baker for receiving the well-deserved award.
