Gerry holds Memorial Day parade

On Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m., the Gerry Memorial Day weekend parade was held beginning at the Gerry Fire Department. Those in the parade followed the parade route along Route 60 to the Gerry Cemetery where Paul Cooley served as the master of ceremony. The Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280 Honor Guard led the parade, and music was provided by the Cassadaga Valley School Band and the 996th Highlanders Pipe Band. Susan Rowley of the Blue Star Mothers was the guest speaker for the program. Shown are members of the Valley Historical Society and representatives of other organizations.
