The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was called to two accidents in a matter of minutes Friday afternoon. Around 1:55 p.m. a vehicle hit a pole on Route 20, near Lamberton Road in the town of Pomfret. The vehicle was damaged, but no injuries were reported.

Then five minutes later deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the corner of Brigham and Walldorff roads, Dunkirk. In that accident, vehicle was pulling out of Walldorff Road when it collided with a vehicle on Brigham. Both vehicles were damaged, but no one was injured.
