The Benjamin Prescott Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met on May 16 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Fredonia to place a wreath on the gravesite of Martha Jane “Jennie” Prescott. Prescott was the original Regent of the chapter and the great-granddaughter of Colonel Benjamin Prescott, the chapter’s namesake. The wreath ceremony was directed by Regent Brenda Johnson and the prayers were read by Chaplain Lisa Sedlmayer.
