Cassadaga Farmers Market opens third season

The Cassadaga Farmers’ Market will celebrate its third year in the Village of Cassadaga on Sunday afternoons this summer. Beginning June 23 through Sept. 15, vendors from the Fredonia Farmers’ Market and the Cassadaga area will hold a weekly farmers market on Ames Common on the corner of Route 60 and Maple Avenue from 12:30 until 3:30 pm. Local farmers and crafters will offer produce, eggs, jams, jellies, maple syrup, honey, soaps and personal care items and more.

The Cassadaga Farmers Market continues to be a collaborative effort between the Fredonia Farmers Market and Citizens for a Better Cassadaga. The strong support from the Cassadaga community in 2018 allows these groups to look forward to an equally successful 2019. The market provides a low key, casual atmosphere in which to support local businesses and provide the community with fresh, healthy food.

The Cassadaga Market is currently accepting applications for local producers of meat products, bakery goods, craft items and fresh flowers. For applications, contact Roberto Fred at 410-3817.
