Collins Center’s New Little Library available

The new Little Free Library is located on Route 39 in Collins Center in front of Farm In Peace.

The Friends of the Collins Public Library recently purchased and installed a “Little Free Library” in Collins Center. The purpose of a Little Free Library is to give free access to borrowing and exchanging books for those who can’t always visit a traditional library building.

Because of her great dedication and participation with the Collins Library, the new library has been dedicated with a plaque to the Memory of Joan Byrne.

The new Little Free Library is located on Route 39 in Collins Center in front of Farm In Peace. It is filled with a variety of books that can be borrowed, taken or exchanged. The books will always be changing because of process, so you will always be in for a surprise!

A special thank you to Chris and Paula Jeanniton of Farm in Peace for allowing the Friends of the Collins Library to install the Little Library on their property. Also a big thanks to Rob Draegert of Draegert Construction for donating the time and materials to install the base and the library. Without their support, this project would not have been possible.
