Dunkirk Board of Education run-off results are in
DUNKIRK — The Dunkirk City School District run-off election results are in, following the vote held June 18 at Dunkirk High School. In total, 190 voters turned out to vote in the run-off election, which ran from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The final tally was close, with only six votes between the two candidates for Dunkirk Board of Education. Robert Bankoski received 119 votes, giving him the three-year term seat on the board, while Betsy Ramos received 113 and the one-year term seat on the board. Lynette Hoth, running unopposed, also won the three-year term seat as Dunkirk Public Library Trustee.
