11 non-profits win Lake Shore grants

Lake Shore Bancorp, Inc. has announced that the bank has awarded $16,000 in grants to local non-profit organizations throughout Erie and Chautauqua Counties.

The Bank’s Community Reinvestment Committee, comprised of four members from our local communities, is charged with reviewing all submitted grant applications, and ultimately deciding which non-profits will receive grant awards, which are awarded twice a year. Employees of Lake Shore Savings Bank do not play a role in the decision-making process.

The following organizations were recipients of the latest grant awards:

¯ The Salvation Army Buffalo.

¯ The Relief Zone, Inc.

¯ The Salvation Army Dunkirk.

¯ Chautauqua Adult Day Services.

¯ Chautauqua Blind Association Inc.

¯ The Chautauqua Center.

¯ Chautauqua Children’s Safety Education Village.

¯ Infinity Visual and Performing Arts, Inc.

¯ YWCA Supervised Visitation & Exchange Program.

¯ Boys & Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua County.

¯ Erie 2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES Educational Foundation.
