Dunkirk Mayor Wilfred Rosas has received the backing of Teamsters Joint Council 46 in his re-election efforts for this November.

“We trust, and believe, that Willie Rosas will continue to support organized labor, and look forward to working with him throughout his re-election and during his next tenure as mayor of the city of Dunkirk,” the union announced this week.

Teamsters Joint Council 46 consists of three Teamsters Locals with jurisdiction throughout all of Western New York. The union’s diverse membership, which is comprised of workers in both the public and private sectors is over 13,000 strong.
