SILVER CREEK — Mia Bella’s Consignment Boutique will be celebrating their grand opening during this weekend’s Grape Festival.

Planned is a sidewalk sale, free grape cotton candy, chances to win prizes including gift certificates at both Mia Bella’s and Just My Imagination Workshop-Parties & More, and savings for everyone including up to 50% off for a lucky shopper.

Friday’s store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday they will be open for extended hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you are in town for the Grape Festival, take a walk over to 260 Central Ave. In addition to street parking there is also public parking at the bottom of the hill on Central.

One of the reasons owning a consignment boutique was so appealing to new owners, sisters Savannah and Allison Karcz is that it helps them live the “Three R’s,” something very important to both of them: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Secondly this business allows the girls to help families earn a little extra money. Finally, it lets them help others in the community, whether it be through their own fundraiser, like the fundraiser they did in honor of missing hiker, Sam Sayers, which raised $306.90 for A21, an organization that combats human trafficking; or donating a gift certificate to a benefit, donating to local families in need, offering a place for local students to get work experience, or knowing that certain consignors take the money they earn and donate it to local organizations. The sisters love being able to lend a helping hand.

Mia Bella’s features trendy clothes for trendy kids and their families. Regular store hours are Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Fridays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Consignments of gently used, in current season and style apparel from infants through men’s and women’s plus sizes, along with baby equipment like strollers, swings, etc. are accepted on Mondays and Fridays.
