Troopers PBA endorses Rosas

The Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc. has announced the endorsement of Wilfred Rosas for re-election as mayor of the city of Dunkirk.

The PBA issued this statement:

“During his tenure as mayor, Rosas has worked to revitalize as well as to bring jobs and development to Dunkirk.

“Having served as a state trooper for 20 years, Rosas continues to utilize his valuable experience in conflict resolution, problem solving, leadership and public safety.

“It is with careful consideration that the PBA is endorsing Willie Rosas for re-election as the mayor of the city of Dunkirk. The challenges facing members of the law enforcement community are greater than ever before, and we need individuals like Rosas in leadership positions to help law enforcement officers better serve the residents of New York state.”

More than 6,000 active and retired, uniformed members of the New York State Police from the rank of Trooper through the rank of Major are represented by the PBA.
