Supervisory Certificate Series set at Jamestown Community College
Jamestown Community College is offering a series of skill building workshops to enhance supervisory capabilities within companies and organizations.
The 10-day Successful Supervision certificate program features sessions led by experienced trainers from various employment sectors. Timely topics for current, new, and prospective supervisors are examined. Successful participants will receive a certificate of completion from JCC.
The program meets from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Oct. 15 through Dec. 17, at JCC’s Cattaraugus County Campus in Olean. The program is also offered from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays, Nov. 15 through Jan. 31, at the Jamestown Campus.
The skills needed to transition into a supervisory role, specific laws that apply to supervisors, effective communication techniques, and how to motivate your team toward company goals are featured in each interactive training session.
