Community members and staff at The Green, a Heritage rehab and skilled nursing community in Greenhurst, recently celebrated the retirement of Food Service Director, Ambie Green.

An employee with Heritage for over five years, Green has worked each day to promote HOPE, DIGNITY and PURPOSEFUL living to all those entrusted to her care.

Cheryl Farr, administrator at The Green, shared, “Ambie has been an instrumental part in the food service delivery at Heritage Green for over five years. She has been both reliable and dedicated in making a difference in the lives of our residents each and every day. She was able to engage the residents with food choices to their liking and would always address their concerns with the utmost respect. She led her team by example which will carry through to her predecessor. We will miss Ambie but wish her well on her retirement and new journey.”
